Our mission is to provide a caring, nurturing milieu of personal support to promote community living in the most normalized way possible. Our goal at Mama's House is to provide a community based placement that offers the greatest opportunities for independence while providing support as needed in functional areas.

We currently have 3 group homes throughout Central Virginia and our Day Support Center is located in Hopewell, VA. Each group home is a single level home with private bedrooms for each individual, handicap accessible bathrooms, wheelchair ramps, and screened or covered patios. All homes are handicap accessible. Twenty-four hour care is provided by our well experienced staff.

Our Day Support Center offers each individual a sense of normalcy in their day to day lives. The Day Support Center includes multiple activity rooms which include the music room, the theatre room, the calming room, the art room and much more.  We also take all residents on group outings such as bowling or the movie theatre.  Transportation is provided.

Our highly qualified staff has over 20 years of experience in mental health work. Staff is available 24 hours daily and will assist individuals with developing mentally, emotionally, physically, spiritually and financially. Each individual will have an Individualized Support Plan created based on assessment data to ensure optimal services are provided in the least restrictive manner and environment.
